After careful consideration, we have made the decision that PAVE Southeast Raleigh will pause the whole school in Virtual Instruction (Plan C) until March 1, 2021.
January 14, 2021 Update:
The decision to wait until March 1st is in line with the goals of a) protecting the wellbeing of our community and b) teaching as consistently and well as possible. While we know online learning is successful for many of our scholars, we also know that it is not serving everyone well enough. With this in mind, we commit to:
-
Reopening March 1st in a modified Plan A or Plan B format,
-
Offering a 5-week Summer Learning Program for a portion of our school,
-
Engaging you about your child(ren)’s progress and how they may thrive next year, and
-
Proactively planning to address any learning loss anticipated next year.

We thank you PAVE families! You and the PAVE teachers have shown amazing resilience, compassion, and grit as we join together in remote instruction. While not the year anyone expected, many of us have risen above the challenges, and many of our scholars are really enjoying their remote classes. Thank you for working hard, communicating well, and staying flexible.
1 Reopening still hinges on Covid metrics and the decisions of NC’s Governor. We will continue to monitor the data and seek your feedback, if needed. To drive decision making. We recognize PAVE’s decision differs from Wake County Public Schools but believe it is the best decision for our community.
Kindergarten Learning Packets
The Kindergarten team has put together a virtual learning packet to assist scholars during live instruction. Distribution took place today and will continue to take place from 8am – 4pm on Tuesday, Sep. 8th, and Wednesday, Sep. 9th. Please wear a mask and stay in your vehicle and someone will approach your car. If one of those days does not work for you then please reach out to your scholars’ teacher to schedule a time.
At this time, we are not distributing additional resources to other grades. When we do schedule additional material pick ups, we will notify you through your teachers, remind, facebook, etc.
Daily Meal Pick Up
Bags containing lunch and breakfast will continue to be distributed daily to families between 11am – 1pm. Please wear a mask and drive by the front doors. You do not need to bring anything and may pick up one bag per child. Our team is ready to serve you and hopes you will take advantage of this opportunity every day.
